Junior doctors of Darbhanga Medical College Hospital have stopped working since Saturday night. It is believed that they have stopped work in protest against the FIR registered against the junior doctors for the ruckus in the emergency department of DMCH four days ago.

DMCH Deputy Superintendent Dr. Harendra Kumar has confirmed the strike by junior doctors and said that senior doctors have been requested to ensure treatment of patients in various departments other than emergency. If junior doctors do not return to work, additional doctors will be deployed in various departments. Junior doctors have not submitted any application in writing.
